Books

I undertake photography for estates, farms and houses whether it be one-offs or photography through the seasons. These can be provided as photographs or as is now more popular, books.

These books are used as corporate gifts, coffee table books for browsing customers or simply for personal memories.

Photography rates are the same as for corporate photography - £250 per day or £50 per hour. Hourly rates allow me to visit briefly several times during the course of a year to build up a story of the seasons. A typical book will require 6-8 visits during a year totalling 12-20 hours photography. Alternatively a single season can be chosen and photography completed in 1 or 2 days.

Images are then provided as a selected edit but not post produced (for contrast / density / crops). When you have made a final selection I will post produce these and design a layout for a book. This time is charged at £40 per hour with approx 6 images an hour post produced and laid out.

I offer two different manufacturers for books with a standard and superior quality. I charge the printing of books at cost price - from £125 for a square 12" 20 page / 40 side / 80-100 image book. Large price reductions apply to multiple copies.

Options for books are numerous including design / layout choices, dustjackets, slip covers, book cover materials, paper weights and finishes and so on. We will discuss all options to amke sure you receive exactly the product you want.
